Can you tell me what sewing stitches to use to join corners of a traditional 2ply square baby shawl.

Any other tips about finishing shawls?

YOUR ANSWER

Hi Cath

I am not sure what sewing stitches are traditionally used on 2 ply shawls (I am assuming that you are talking about a shawl with multiple pieces?), but I can tell you which stitch I use for putting my shawls together.

I prefer the invisible seam for any baby knitting as it makes the tidiest (narrowest) seam.

Hope this helps...
