decrease as before and at the same time

Hi

In this section i am supposed to end up with 6 stitches but end up with zero if I count the total no of rows to knit as 42 and and then count them in batches of 5 to decrease every 5th row.

Please help I don't know what to do. the pattern says:

SHAPE RAGLAN AND SHAPE FRONT EDGE
k1, s1, k1, psso, k to end 28(31; 34; 36)sts
next row: purl
Last 2 rows set raglan shaping.

Keep continuity of raglan shaping rep last 2 rows 16(19,19,21 times) more, AT SAME TIME decrease front edge in 2nd and every foll 5th row. 5(4, 7, 6) sts

its the "at the same" time bit that is confusing

PLEASE HELP

Hi Daleen,

There are 44 rows in the pattern for the largest size, 2 rows plus 21 x 2 = 44.

I have written the instructions out row by row so that you can follow where the decreases are.

Hope this helps.
