Knitting Instructions Purl

by Amber
(Australia )

I don't understand when it says this:

Row 7 and foll 2 alt rows: purl

YOUR ANSWER

Your instructions are telling you to purl all stitches on the 7th, 9th and 11th rows.

If the instructions were written in long hand, they would read as follows:

Purl all stitches on the 7th row. Complete row 8 as per previous instructions, purl all stitches on the 9th row. Repeat the last 2 rows once more.
