Knitting procedure problem

by June Kissi
(DeSoto, TX)

I am making a knitted shortsleeved pullover, and I've just completed my first decrease row in the pattern.

The next line in the pattern is: Working side seam decreases as set, dec 1 st at each end of 3 foll 6th rows; you will have 107 sts at completion.

I'm not sure what is meant by 3 fol 6th rows.

Thank you!

YOUR ANSWER

Basically it means to decrease 1 st at the end of the 6th, 12th, and 18th rows.

Thank you so much! I've only been knitting for abt 3 years, and it it self taught. From time to time, I hit a snag...mostly I can just study it and makes sense of it...but this time it wasn't coming. I knew it had something to do with multiples of 3 and 6.

Thank you Thank you!
