one extra stitch

I have 49 stitches to put on the four double pointed needles. What should I do with the extra stitch. Thank you in advance for your help. I am a crazy beginning beginner.

YOUR ANSWER


Which ever on you want to put it on.

I would probably put it on the first or the last needle so that it is easy to keep track of, but it really doesn't matter where you put it.
